OSHA - Construction Industry Training

OSHA training is necessary for a safe and healthy work environment, and for certain states it is a requirement before work can begin. Most States have recently made OSHA training a requirement for certain construction work contracts. Our training teaches safety awareness and helps each construction worker to recognize and reduce the risks of job site hazards. This OSHA course places special emphasis on hazard identification, avoidance, control and prevention. The OSHA Training for the Construction Industry course includes several topics valuable to construction related work such as Fall Protection, Personal Protective Equipment, Scaffolding, Electrical, Welding, Hazard Communication, Fire Prevention, Concrete & Mansonry, Signs & Barricades, Stairways & Ladders, Cranes, Derrick, Hoists, Elevators, Conveyors, Record Keeping, OSHA Inspection Procedures and more. If you need OSHA certificate to meet employer or state-requirements, this course is for you!


OSHA 10 Hour Construction Training


This course is available for construction, general industry and maritime. Workers are provided with general awareness about recognizing and preventing hazards commonly found in the workplace. OSHA recommends this training as an orientation to occupational safety and health. Workers can receive additional training on hazards specific to their job. 10 hours of mandatory and optional topics will be covered.


OSHA 30 Hour Construction Training


OSHA 30-hour training is the primary method used to train workers and supervisors on hazard recognition and OSHA safety standards. Our training covers specific OSHA regulations and requirements as they apply to the construction industry.This training is available for contruction and general industry. Supervisors and those desiring a more extensive training safety and health will learn a variety of training. Workers can receive additional training on hazards specific to their job. 30 hours of mandatory and optional topics will be covered.



OSHA 10 - Hours Training for Construction Workers


Course Overview:

The 10-hour Construction Industry Outreach Training Program alerts both new and experienced workers of the dangers inherent in construction work. The training will include a variety of construction health and safety topics. Course topics pertain to regulations covered by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) Standards for the Construction Industry 29 CFR 1926. Construction workers must receive additional training, when required by OSHA standards, on specific hazards of the job.


Who Should Attend:

Construction Workers, Construction Executives, Sr. Managers,Project Managers, Engineers, Superintendents, Forepersons, Lead Supervisors and Safety Professionals and crafts workers.


Duration:

The duration of this class is 10 Classroom Instruction Hours and must be completed over a 2 day period (maximum 7.5hours/day) The participants will increase their knowledge of OSHA Construction standards and best practices applicable in the areas such as:


  • Introduction to OSHA/OSHA Act (2 Hr)
  • OSHA Focus Four Hazards (2 hrs)
